1. How this notice works
U.S. privacy laws differ by state and often apply only after a business meets statutory thresholds. This notice describes rights Klarity will support where legally required and may voluntarily honor more broadly when feasible. It does not claim that every listed state statute applies to Skillwarp Inc. at every scale.
2. Common rights
Confirm whether Klarity processes personal information about you.
Access personal information.
Correct inaccurate information.
Delete personal information, subject to lawful exceptions.
Obtain a portable copy where required.
Opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling where applicable.
Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information where applicable.
Withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis.
Appeal a denied request where state law provides an appeal right.
3. California
If Skillwarp Inc. is subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents may receive the rights and notices required by that law. Klarity’s current policy is not to sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. California users under 16 receive additional protections if sale or sharing were ever introduced; Klarity does not intend to use that model.
4. Colorado and other comprehensive state privacy laws
If applicable, Klarity will provide required rights, processor contracts, sensitive-data consent, data-protection assessments, universal opt-out handling, and appeal procedures. Klarity’s youth baseline prohibits sale and targeted advertising based on Student Data and limits collection to the Service purposes disclosed.
5. How to make a request
Email privacy@klarityaitutor.com or use the privacy request form on klarityaitutor.com. We may verify the request using information already associated with the account. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
6. Authorized agents and appeals
Where state law permits an authorized agent, Klarity may require proof of authorization and may separately verify the consumer. If an appeal right applies, the denial notice will explain how to appeal through privacy@klarityaitutor.com.
